Hi, my name is Madeline Bott (call me Mady for short). I'm a 20-year-old graphic and web designer based in Ottawa, ON Canada! When I'm not designing I'm most likely reading, cuddling my cat, drawing, playing valorant and other video games!

2020

Believe it or not, I only graduated high school in 2020. In the middle of the lockdown, one of the most important life moments wasn't happening, my high school graduation. Not physically graduating high school left me feeling weird about continuing to post-secondary education (aka college). The only parts of high school I actually enjoyed were art class and doing the set design for the school musicals, therefore I knew I wanted to go into a creative program (eg. the arts).

2023

After graduating high school, I had to decide which program to do in cegep (college in Quebec). I originally got accepted into the Visual Arts program but since my first year of college was online I didn't see myself enjoying it. So, on the first day of school, I transferred from Visual Arts and joined the Graphic and Web Design program. This was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. I graduated from college in the Graphic and Web Design program in May 2023. Over the summer of '23, I began working as a freelance graphic and web designer, landing my first job in July. I've continued to grow my online presence by doing design briefs and personal projects.

2024 & beyond

I have some exciting things coming in 2024 and can't wait to share them. I'm looking forward to all the fun projects I get to create in 2024!
